Description

This 3D perspective came from of a side profile drawing I did in High School. My artwork experience started with the most basic drawings that were only 2D side profiles of futuristic vehicles and starships with no perspective of any kind. This drawing is a re-render of one of those side profiles of a futuristic tank I envisioned in High School. I then turned this drawing into a digital painting of these tanks emerging out of a dust storm firing at will.

This is a two man vehicle capable of quick long and short distance strikes at enemy tanks. Armament also includes grenade launchers and a gatling gun for infantry suppression.

It's a pretty cool design. Well angled armour, and I like all the little gadgets it has. There are a few design flaws worth noting through.

Are those windows on the front-left side of the vehicle? Those would be massive structural weaknesses. Even if those windows were made from a transparent material that was as tough as the metal alloy that makes up the hull, it still ends up leaving no room for any composite armour inside the tank. If you want optics in the vehicle for the crew to see out of, I recommend using periscopes instead. Almost every modern tank has several of these facing multiple directions. There are six visible periscopes in this example image alone... https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/tank-periscope-btr-apc-designed-ussr-pyatigorsk-russia-may-wheeled-amphibious-armoured-personnel-carrier-street-92315352.jpg

I see that there is a sponson on the side of the tank, but this tank only operates on a two man crew according to the description. One driver and one gunner presumably, correct? Who is operating the sponson? To be used effectively, it would require a third crew member, maybe even a fourth crew member if there is a second sponson on the other side. Does an AI operate it? Or does one of the two crew members just sort of run back and forth between them to use them?
